In the spirit of joining hands with the community to overcome hardships, Phan Vũ Investment Corporation made a meaningful contribution of 500 million VND to support those severely affected by Storm No. 3. The donation handover and acceptance ceremony took place at the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee's Relief Campaign Office in Phu Nhuan District.
Representing Phan Vũ at the event were Mr. Đặng Kiện Hùng, General Director, and Mr. Nguyễn Minh Chánh, HR Director. On behalf of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Nhuan District were Mrs. Trần Thị Mai Lý, Member of the Standing Committee and Chairwoman of the District Committee; Mr. Dương Văn Long, District Party Member and Permanent Vice Chairman of the District Committee; and Mr. Nguyễn Minh Hùng, Deputy Head of the District's Department of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs.
The 500 million VND donation came from various sources, including voluntary contributions of at least one day’s salary from each Phan Vũ employee, a portion from the company’s union fund, and an additional contribution from the company’s budget. The employees' voluntary contribution not only provided material support but also spread a powerful message of solidarity. This act symbolizes unity and empathy for the suffering and losses of our fellow citizens. It serves as a meaningful gesture, not only helping those impacted but also showcasing the spirit of humanity and generosity within Phan Vũ, creating a source of encouragement for those affected by natural disasters.
At the ceremony, Phan Vũ's CEO, Mr. Đặng Kiện Hùng, shared: “Faced with the immeasurable damage and loss our fellow citizens have suffered from Storm No. 3, the leadership and staff of Phan Vũ quickly responded to the call for assistance, hoping to contribute a small part to help the affected community. This is not just a social obligation but a responsibility for each of us to share with the community.”
On behalf of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Mrs. Trần Thị Mai Lý, Chairwoman of the District Committee, expressed her deep gratitude for the timely contribution from Phan Vũ's leadership and staff. She emphasized that the funds would be distributed transparently, ensuring they reach those most in need. Additionally, she expressed hope for continued support from Phan Vũ in future social activities, contributing to the strong development of the community.
