On September 22th, 2020, at Greenfield project (Hiep Phuoc Industrial Park), Jotun Vietnam solemnly held a ceremony to recognize the milestone of 1,000,000 safe working hours for Project Management Board of Phan Vũ and other contractors at the project. Phan Vu is honored to contribute 40,000 safe working hours during construction from September 16th, 2019 to February 24th, 2020 for the Greenfield project.
Safe working hours are calculated based on the number of personnel and the number of working hours on site; no injury, no fire, no explosion, no damage to property and environmental impacts... Project Management Board of Phan Vũ has strictly followed and implemented all labor safety measures through training courses, labor safety tests, all works have measure explanations and approved before construction.
Greenfield project is invested by Jotun Vietnam, with the area of 100,000 m2 in Hiep Phuoc Industrial Park, Nha Be District, HCM City. Phan Vu is contractor for supplying and constructing of the concrete foundation pile D600.
Speaking at the ceremony to recognize 1,000,000 safe working hours, Mr. Morten K. Nodrum - Project Manager Jotun Vietnam Greenfield shared: “I am very proud of the outstanding achievement of 1 million safe hours which we all havve achieved. That milestone is even more respectable when we have encountered great challenges such as unfavorable geological conditions, long rainy season as well as the effects of Covid-19".
