On April 24th, 2022, the inauguration ceremony of Tan Thuan Wind Power Plant Project (phase 1 & phase 2) was solemnly held in Tan Thuan commune, Dam Doi district, Ca Mau province.
At the inauguration ceremony, there were representatives of heads of Ca Mau province; representatives of heads of provincial departments and agencies of Dam Doi district of Ca Mau province, Dong Hai district of Bac Lieu province; heads of Electricity Group Vietnam (EVN); Power Generation Corporation 3 (EVNGENCO3) and Phan Vu Corporation; Representative of EPC general contractor - Electrical Construction Consulting Joint Stock Company 2 (PECC2); Subcontractor - SEPEC Company; Equipment supplier - Siemens GAMESA Company; a combination of LBBW and MB bank.
At Tan Thuan Wind Power Plant Project, Phan Vu plays the role of both a contractor supplying and constructing concrete piles and finishing works for 18 turbines, and a major shareholder of CMC with a total investment value accounts for 20% of capital (equivalent to more than 150 million USD).
Tan Thuan Wind Power Plant project phase 1 and phase 2 has a total capacity of 75MW with a scale of 18 wind turbine towers, invested by Ca Mau Renewable Energy Investment Joint Stock Company. This is the first offshore wind power project in Ca Mau province, located in Luu Hoa Thanh hamlet on the sea area of Tan Thuan commune, Dam Doi district. Tan Thuan Wind Power Plant is considered as one of the key projects of CMC Investor, with Power Construction Consultant Joint Stock Company 2 (PECC2) as the EPC general contractor and Siemens GAMESA as the equipment supplier.
